DISCOVER MANILA'S MOST LOVED ITALIAN RESTO | VA BENE PASTA DELI | FOODVENTURES

Discover Manila’s best and most loved Italian Resto, Va Bene Pasta Deli by Chef Massimo.   This resto is famous for their fresh, handmade pasta, and authentic Italian food.  Va Bene is located at a gas station along Edsa in Makati but I bet you wouldn’t expect a resto this good would exist here right? Neither do I.  The resto is a bit small that it can get easily packed during peak hours. It has a simple, casual and homey vibe to it. But don’t let the resto’s appearance hinder you from dining here because their food surely is a hit!  I visited here for lunch so I tried their Special Business Lunch Promo .  You can choose from these 3 Business Lunch Sets.  - 1 Dish for P299+ - 1 Appetizer + 1 Main Course for P499+ - 1 Dish + 1 Glass of Wine for P499+ For Appetisers , you can choose from these: Bruschetta Roasted eggplant, stracciatella cheese, basil, and grana padano Insalata Mixed lettuce, arugula,

ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT GRILLED STEAK AT CHATEAUBRIAND | CHURRASCO EXPERIENCE | FOODVENTURES

Chateaubriand is a new eat-all-you-can resto in Roxas Boulevard. The restaurant’s approach is a combination of fine dining and churrasco experience at the same time.  Churrasco is the Brazilian’s version of our inihaw. Their grilling method involves a variety of meats cooked over a barbecue grill. Meats are stacked on metal skewers and roasted by a charcoal or wooden grill. The  resto  has 4 separate areas. There’s a live band area, a bar outside where there are bean bags laid on the grass, a fine dining churrasco buffet area on the 1st floor, and a live concept kitchen area on the 2nd floor.  The interiors is filled with grandeur fixtures, marble floorings, beautiful chandelier, large tables and aesthetic chairs. The ambience here is quiet, a bit on the high class and cozy.  We started our feast with their intercontinental buffet. They have a cold cuts station, Japanese cuisine station, salad station, hot dish station, fruit and desser

A HIDDEN GEM LIBIS HAS BEEN KEEPING | CUCINA DI FRANCESCO | FOODVENTURES

A hidden gem of Italian Cuisine awaits you here at Cucina Di Francesco . Tucked in the compound of Padre Pio Church in Libis, this hidden gem offers you feel good Italian dishes.  The Interior and the ambience has a very homey feels. Simple, well-lighted resto with some wall artsy murals which were painted by UP Fine Arts students.  Cucina di Francesco has 3 floors, the uppermost floor is mostly used for events.  I was also deeply moved knowing that the owner, Ms.Mary Rose employs people with special needs. It’s a great way to help them feel productive and that they are also part of the society.  We sampled some of the dishes from their ‘FaMealy Treats’ which is good for 10 people and is priced at P3,000.  For the appetiser, we had the Burrata in Garlic Pomodoro with Italian Sausages .  The Pomodoro sauce has a lot of flavours. Sweet, rich sauce topped with Burrata that’s a perfect pair with their smokey sausages.
