BUDGET-FRIENDLY RECIPES YOU CAN COOK DURING COMMUNITY QUARANTINE | FOODVENTURES

Due to the spread and rising cases of Coronavirus here in the Philippines, the National Government decided to place the whole Luzon into Enhanced Community Quarantine.

During this month-long community quarantine, all school classes are suspended, all public transportation stopped, religious gatherings are prohibited, companies are forced to stop their operations, malls are closed except for the essential stores like supermarkets, convenience stores, food establishments and drugstores.

To prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, the Government strictly commanded the Filipino people to just stay at home and can only go out to buy food, medicine or for emergencies. This Community Quarantine has affected the Filipino masses because most are on a "No work, No pay" status thus their budget for the month-long quarantine might be limited or none at all. Many will rely on canned food and noodles to survive.

NEW PERUVIAN RESTAURANT IN QC | CEVICHE PERUVIAN GASTRO PUB | FOODVENTURES

Ceviche is a new Peruvian Restaurant in Quezon City. It is the well-known before as 'Don Andres Peruvian Restaurant' in Scout Tobias. They recently moved their restaurant in Sto. Domingo street and changed the name to 'Ceviche'.   This is my first time to know about Peruvian Cuisine and I know that most of Filipinos are not very familiar with it too. It's great that there's a new resto to try in Banawe area that is different from what we are accustomed to.  Peru is known for their Ceviche and it's a favourite dish of many in Peruvian cuisine. Ceviche is like our Kilawin but instead of using vinegar, they use citrus fruits like lime or lemon. The resto has a very homey ambience. Great painted wall art and colorful tables and chairs. Ceviche is also a gastropub and they have plenty of alcohol, beers and cocktails that you can choose from.  Ceviche has a wide menu from chicken to pork to beef to seafood.
