Discover history and culture while enjoying some of the best food this walled city has to offer. Ilustrado Restaurant in Intramuros is celebrating its 29th year anniversary and to celebrate their anniversary, they are offering an 8-course Degustation menu for the whole month of October. The menu was created by Chef de Patron Bernice Pimentel . They utilize local cuisine and ingredients in an up-to-date fashion or the millennial way.  We started our degustation with Kangkong Pesto Brioche served with Boursin Cheese . The bread was soft and I love the combination of the pesto and the Boursin Cheese.  Next, we had the Kesong Puti Croquettes at Lato with baby mesclun and salsa verde aioli .  Oyster Laing Rockefeller , it’s Aklan Oyster, chili, coconut, dried taro, reggiano, panko and lemon.
