COLD DRINKS: Tuk Tuk Thai Tea (P70) Sweet and creamy but still has a strong tea taste to it. Tuk Tuk Thai Green Tea (P80) Less sweet than their Thai tea. It has the right amount of green tea taste to it and not too ...

Neither do I.  The resto is a bit small that it can get easily packed during peak hours. It has a simple, casual and homey vibe to it. But don’t let the resto’s appearance hinder you from dining here because their food surely is a hit!  I visited here for lunch so I tried their Special Business Lunch Promo .  You can choose from these 3 Business Lunch Sets.  - 1 Dish for P299+ - 1 Appetizer + 1 Main Course for P499+ - 1 Dish + 1 Glass of Wine for P499+ For Appetisers , you can choose from these: Bruschetta Roasted eggplant, stracciatella cheese, basil, and grana padano Insala...

A hidden gem of Italian Cuisine awaits you here at Cucina Di Francesco . Tucked in the compound of Padre Pio Church in Libis, this hidden gem offers you feel good Italian dishes.  The Interior and the ambience has a very homey feels. Simple, well-lighted resto with some wall artsy murals which were painted by UP Fine Arts students.  Cucina di Francesco has 3 floors, the uppermost floor is mostly used for events.  I was also deeply moved knowing that the owner, Ms.Mary Rose employs people with special needs. It’s a great way to help them feel productive and that they are also part of the society.  We sampled some of the dishes from their ‘FaMealy Treats’ which is good for 10 people and is priced at P3,000.  For the appetiser, we had the Burrata in Garlic Pomodoro with Italian Sausages .  The Pomodoro sauce has a lot of flavours. Sweet, rich sauce topped with Burrata that’s a perfect pair...

Discover history and culture while enjoying some of the best food this walled city has to offer. Ilustrado Restaurant in Intramuros is celebrating its 29th year anniversary and to celebrate their anniversary, they are offering an 8-course Degustation menu for the whole month of October. The menu was created by Chef de Patron Bernice Pimentel . They utilize local cuisine and ingredients in an up-to-date fashion or the millennial way.  We started our degustation with Kangkong Pesto Brioche served with Boursin Cheese . The bread was soft and I love the combination of the pesto and the Boursin Cheese.  Next, we had the Kesong Puti Croquettes at Lato with baby mesclun and salsa verde aioli .  Oyster Laing Rockefeller , it’s Aklan Oyster, chili, coconut, dried taro, reggiano, panko and lemon. I like that the oyster does not have that much “fishy” taste to it because of the saltiness of the...
