Discover Manila’s best and most loved Italian Resto, Va Bene Pasta Deli by Chef Massimo. 

This resto is famous for their fresh, handmade pasta, and authentic Italian food. 


Va Bene is located at a gas station along Edsa in Makati but I bet you wouldn’t expect a resto this good would exist here right? Neither do I. 



The resto is a bit small that it can get easily packed during peak hours. It has a simple, casual and homey vibe to it. But don’t let the resto’s appearance hinder you from dining here because their food surely is a hit! 





I visited here for lunch so I tried their Special Business Lunch Promo. 

You can choose from these 3 Business Lunch Sets. 
- 1 Dish for P299+
- 1 Appetizer + 1 Main Course for P499+
- 1 Dish + 1 Glass of Wine for P499+



For Appetisers, you can choose from these:



Bruschetta
Roasted eggplant, stracciatella cheese, basil, and grana padano



Insalata
Mixed lettuce, arugula, mangoes, parma ham, blue cheese, in balsamic dressing




Zuppa
Tomato Soup, mozzarella cheese, quadrucci pasta, and basil pesto



For the Main Course:



Gnocchi
Bolognese, parmesan fondue, and freshly grated parmesan cheese





Salmon Tortellini
Bacon, with vodka tomato cream sauce




Black Ink Pappardelle
Zucchini, octopus, clams, anchovies, garlic drizzled with extra virgin olive oil





Chicken Milanese
Fried Chicken breast fillet, roasted potatoes and mixed lettuce with parmesan cheese in a balsamic dressing



My top picks are Bruschetta for the appetiser, Chicken Milanese and Gnocchi for Main Course.

NEW PERUVIAN RESTAURANT IN QC | CEVICHE PERUVIAN GASTRO PUB | FOODVENTURES

Ceviche is a new Peruvian Restaurant in Quezon City. It is the well-known before as 'Don Andres Peruvian Restaurant' in Scout Tobias. They recently moved their restaurant in Sto. Domingo street and changed the name to 'Ceviche'.   This is my first time to know about Peruvian Cuisine and I know that most of Filipinos are not very familiar with it too. It's great that there's a new resto to try in Banawe area that is different from what we are accustomed to.  Peru is known for their Ceviche and it's a favourite dish of many in Peruvian cuisine. Ceviche is like our Kilawin but instead of using vinegar, they use citrus fruits like lime or lemon. The resto has a very homey ambience. Great painted wall art and colorful tables and chairs. Ceviche is also a gastropub and they have plenty of alcohol, beers and cocktails that you can choose from.  Ceviche has a wide menu from chicken to pork to beef to seafood.
