Krispy Kreme Levels Up Awesomeness With New OG Card
More than awesome Original Glazed® doughnuts, Krispy Kreme Philippines promises Originals the full awesome experience with the launch of its OG Card. Unveiled recently at Krispy Kreme in Bonifacio High Street, the much-anticipated OG Card reveal gave us a sneak peek into the extra-awesome, next-level fun experiences that Originals can get exclusive access to—all thanks to the OG card.
“Krispy Kreme has been well-loved all over the world because of our Original Glazed® doughnuts, and yet, in true Krispy Kreme fashion, we continue to strive to give our fans more awesome experiences with and beyond our doughnuts,” says Krispy Kreme Philippines COO, Pyrus Dela Cruz
Hosted by radio DJ and sportscaster Bea Fabregas, the OG launch event showcased a full line-up of activity booths, Instagram-worthy stations, and a unique mix of entertainment and performances for everyone to enjoy. With an invite to ‘come as you are, be who you are’, guests arrived in their best and most awesome selves, all set and ready to have a great time together!
Joining in the fun were prominent names and OG friends: the boys of Perea Street, Kaila Estrada, Lissa Kahayon, Noelle Martinez, Andre Lagdameo, Janina Vela, Leigh Sayoc, David Samson, Fifth Solomon, Marlann Flores, and the Support Your Friends owners, Ralph and Randall Cruz.
Upon arrival, guests were served with the classic unlimited Original Glazed® Doughnuts and the newest Chocolate Glazed Doughnuts, along with refreshments. Leading up to the main attraction was a colorful mirror maze with Original statements painted on the walls. “What makes an original is what makes you, YOU!” reads one of the writings on the wall.
At the venue, a travel-inspired corner with a Kombi van and other getaway essentials allowed guests to lounge in and take picture-perfect moments. A fun and interactive confetti booth was another event highlight, as guests excitedly lined up to have their videos taken in it. Fans also had a blast trying out the line-up of games, enjoying each other’s company playing air hockey, table football, and darts.
Taking over the stage were bands and dance troupes to liven up the night, including Papermoon,
Banaharbera, Danidea, Kartell'em, Basically Saturday Night, and LSDC Street. Finally, it was time for the grand reveal. Krispy Kreme's access to all things awesome—the OG Card—
was officially unveiled. “Today’s event is just a prelude to all the awesome things that await our OG card members,” shares Dela Cruz. “Once you get your hands on the OG Card, you get exclusive access to Krispy Kreme perks and benefits to pour in, as well as once-in-a-lifetime surprises that you and your loved ones can enjoy and experience together,” he concludes.
As Krispy Kreme celebrates its birthday in July, fans should brace themselves for an exciting, jam-packed month of events, including free theme park passes, special block screenings, round-trip tickets to key destinations, and many, many more.
The Krispy Kreme OG Card is available beginning July 1, 2019 at all Krispy Kreme outlets nationwide.
