A HIDDEN GEM LIBIS HAS BEEN KEEPING | CUCINA DI FRANCESCO | FOODVENTURES

A hidden gem of Italian Cuisine awaits you here at Cucina Di Francesco. Tucked in the compound of Padre Pio Church in Libis, this hidden gem offers you feel good Italian dishes.

The Interior and the ambience has a very homey feels. Simple, well-lighted resto with some wall artsy murals which were painted by UP Fine Arts students.

Cucina di Francesco has 3 floors, the uppermost floor is mostly used for events.

I was also deeply moved knowing that the owner, Ms.Mary Rose employs people with special needs. It’s a great way to help them feel productive and that they are also part of the society.

We sampled some of the dishes from their ‘FaMealy Treats’ which is good for 10 people and is priced at P3,000.

For the appetiser, we had the Burrata in Garlic Pomodoro with Italian Sausages
The Pomodoro sauce has a lot of flavours.
Sweet, rich sauce topped with Burrata that’s a perfect pair with their smokey sausages.

Toasted Ravioli. Crunchy, deep-fried ravioli in Marinara Sauce.

Pasta Vongole. Spaghetti pasta in olive oil with mixed seafood.

Breakfast Pizza. Mozzarella cheese topped with bacon, ham and poached eggs.

Tre Formaggi Pizza. Made of three kinds of cheese, Mozzarella, Emmental and Bleu cheese. Drizzle some honey on it and it will be perfect!

Porchetta. Very flavorful, crunchy, tender pork with roasted garlic and sweet potatoes.

Rosemary Roast Chicken. Simple but has a rich roast flavour.

For dessert, we had the Cheese Cake, Creme Brûlée and Chocolate Mousse

Aside from those, they also offer robusta coffee, bread and pastries too.

Overall, Cucina Di Francesco will make you feel relaxed while enjoying their good food.

Feeling Frazzled lately?  The Frazzled Cook is the perfect place for you to relax and clear your mind with the help of their good food and nice ambience. We had the chance to dine here because the Zomato Foodie Meet up was held here. Their resto is located at a quaint house along Sct. Gandia Street. The ambience of the  resto is great, relaxing and will make you feel at home.         Some of the food we sampled are:  Herbed Chicken Salad   - it has crisp greens with mangoes, a hefty serving of chicken and croutons in basil vinaigrette dressing.  Truffle Pizza with Chili Garlic Oil   - This is not yet on their menu. We're fortunate that we already had a taste of this delicious pizza. It's a cheesy pizza topped with mushrooms and truffle. For added flavor and kick, pour some Chili Garlic Oil on the pizza.  Seafood Paella  - The ser...

NEW PERUVIAN RESTAURANT IN QC | CEVICHE PERUVIAN GASTRO PUB | FOODVENTURES

Ceviche is a new Peruvian Restaurant in Quezon City. It is the well-known before as 'Don Andres Peruvian Restaurant' in Scout Tobias. They recently moved their restaurant in Sto. Domingo street and changed the name to 'Ceviche'.   This is my first time to know about Peruvian Cuisine and I know that most of Filipinos are not very familiar with it too. It's great that there's a new resto to try in Banawe area that is different from what we are accustomed to.  Peru is known for their Ceviche and it's a favourite dish of many in Peruvian cuisine. Ceviche is like our Kilawin but instead of using vinegar, they use citrus fruits like lime or lemon. The resto has a very homey ambience. Great painted wall art and colorful tables and chairs. Ceviche is also a gastropub and they have plenty of alcohol, beers and cocktails that you can choose from.  Ceviche has a wide menu from chicken to pork to beef to seafood.  ...
