WHAT TO EAT AT PARADISE DYNASTY | New Dishes 2018 | The Podium Mall | FOODVENTURES


Paradise Dynasty is a concept originated from Singapore. They are known for the finest oriental cuisines and their World's First 8 international Flavoured Xiao Long Bao. 



They opened its second branch at the new Podium Mall in Ortigas, Pasig 
City. 

The ambience and the interiors of this outlet has a Zen-like aesthetic and 
a simple touch with a great combination of Oriental and contemporary 
international styling.





It has a main dining hall and VIP rooms that can hold from 10 up to 14 people. 
You can occupy the VIP rooms with consumable of food worth 1,000 per 
person.





For starters, we had their Signature 8 Flavoured Xiao Long Bao (P388/8 
pcs). The flavors are Original, Ginseng, Foie Gras, Black Truffle, Cheesy, 
Crab Roe, Garlic and Szechuan. To enjoy their speciality xiao long bao, 
start from the original flavor and follow the sequence that I mentioned. 
My favorites are the original, black truffle and garlic flavor. 


If you want simplicity, you can always opt for their Signature Original 
Xiao Long Bao (P188/6pcs, P298/10pcs).



Next is the Crispy-fried Crystal Prawns tossed with salted egg yolk (P588)



Aside from that they also served us their upcoming dishes on their menu that will be launched on
September 16, 2018. 

Here are the dishes that we tried.


Fried Duck in White Bun 
Perfectly marinated duck with white peppercorns and Szechuan pepper 
carefully fried to ensure the crispy texture.

Grouper with Pine Nuts and Fruits
Meticulously fried to become golden in colour then topped with special 
sauce and grilled pine nuts.
Grilled Grouper with Tofu in Mapo Tofu Style
Grilled Grouper smothered in tender tofu cooked in aromatic and spicy 
sauce.

Shanghai Style Braised Pork Belly
A famous dish in China where the pork belly is accurately glazed with 
various special sauces to achieve the right flavour.

Bok Choy with Garlic
Authentic bok choy cooked slowly to encapsulate the fresh taste of garlic.


and to end our food feast we tried their Charcoal Custard Lava Bun (P188/3 
pcs)


Paradise Dynasty has a wide array of Chinese oriental cuisines. I highly recommend that you try their 8 international Flavoured Xiao Long Bao and their upcoming dishes too. 
I'll definitely come back to try out their other dishes as well.

NEW PERUVIAN RESTAURANT IN QC | CEVICHE PERUVIAN GASTRO PUB | FOODVENTURES

Ceviche is a new Peruvian Restaurant in Quezon City. It is the well-known before as 'Don Andres Peruvian Restaurant' in Scout Tobias. They recently moved their restaurant in Sto. Domingo street and changed the name to 'Ceviche'.   This is my first time to know about Peruvian Cuisine and I know that most of Filipinos are not very familiar with it too. It's great that there's a new resto to try in Banawe area that is different from what we are accustomed to.  Peru is known for their Ceviche and it's a favourite dish of many in Peruvian cuisine. Ceviche is like our Kilawin but instead of using vinegar, they use citrus fruits like lime or lemon. The resto has a very homey ambience. Great painted wall art and colorful tables and chairs. Ceviche is also a gastropub and they have plenty of alcohol, beers and cocktails that you can choose from.  Ceviche has a wide menu from chicken to pork to beef to seafood.
