Kapitolyo is a great place if you want to go on a food trip because it's considered as the foodie haven of Pasig.
One of the frequent haven of foodies here is Tittos Latin BBQ & Brew. Tittos serves contemporary Latin American comfort food that is tweaked to cater to the Pinoy Palate.
You won't miss this resto because they have a very eye-catching signage outside that will make you want to discover what this resto has to offer.
Upon going in, you'll easily notice their colorful and bright murals that have Latin American vibe to it.
The resto has two floors and an al fresco dining. For more intimate dining, we suggest you opt for the tables located on their second floor. They have couch seats in a brick tunnel with wooden accents inside.
On our visit, we were told that they have new offerings on their menu. So without a second thought, we ordered for their new dishes.
We first had their Chiquitos. It's deep fried chicken tacos with salsa taqueria, sprinkled with crumbled queso fresco and Mexican crema.
next is Tapas de Chipa. It's soft and chewy puffs served tapas-style with cream cheese, smoked salmon and truffle honey.
Then the Truffle Pork Pizza. It's made of flour tortilla pizza with truffle bechamel sauce, torched pork belly strips, melted cheeses, and topped with garlic bits and Latin spices.
Blackened Tuna Jaw. Lava roasted tuna jaw BBQ with Latin spices served with grilled lime and honey chipotle sauce.
Then we also had all the variety of their Arroz Tazones which by the way, are only available from Mondays to Fridays 11AM to 4PM only.
Fish Tazones has pan seared fish fillet marinated in Latin spices, mixed cheeses, Arroz Latino, pico de gallo, and soft-boiled egg topped with crispy onions.
topped with crispy onions.
Pork Tazones. It's Lava-grilled pork belly with mole verde sauce, Arroz Latino, and a soft-boiled egg, topped with crispy onions.
Chicken Tazones which has lave-grilled chicken mojo, Arroz Latino, spiced corn, a soft-boiled egg and topped with crispy onions.
And to satisfy our sweet tooth, we had their Frozen Brazo de Mercedes. It composed of layers of graham-crust, vanilla meringue, and creamy custard. It's also served with crushed oreos, whipped cream, blueberries and strawberry slices.
That's all we had feasted on. Almost all we had was great but my personal faves and top picks are the Fish Tazones, Chiquitos and Tapas de Chipa.
By the way, Tittos has a secret and it's called RM-16 located at the back of the resto. Behind this Coca-Cola Vendo Machine lies a speakesy bar.
Tittos Latin BBQ & Brew is definitely a great place to dine, chill and enjoy their wide variety of yummy dishes and refreshing drinks.
