CREAMIEST ALL-NATURAL HANDCRAFTED ICE CREAM AT PAPA DIDDI'S | FOODVENTURES

Whenever you're in Maginhawa better not miss Papa Diddi's. You'll get the best tasting and creamiest ice cream here. They make all-natural artisanal ice cream from the freshest local ingredients in the country such as creamy carabao's milk and tableas from Batangas and Davao,  that means their ice creams are less in sugar!

On our visit we got to taste the following:

Chocolate Chip Cookies with Roasted Coconut and Sunflower seeds Ice Cream (P145)
You get to choose 2 homemade cookies and the ice cream flavor that comes with it.

Creamy Pumpkin, Tres Leches and Malagos Ice cream in Rice Crispies Nest.
This one is a bit different not just by how it was presented but also because it has a texture when you mix the ice cream with the rice crispies.

Ice cream and Churros (P145)
This one is my top fave among those that we tried. I like that the churros is soft, chewy and it's not nakaka-umay. I can eat this all day hehe.

Affogato (P120)
It's barako coffee plus your choice of ice cream. I chose the Sagada coffee because it has a milder coffee taste and it goes perfectly well with Tres Leches ice cream.

They also have lots of different ice cream flavors like Davao meets Bicol (Malagos Chocolate plus Sili), Mango Pili, Toasted Black Rice and many more.

Pints of ice creams are also sold here for P325 each.

Oh and by the way, watch out for their upcoming Ice Cream Pint Subscription where they will deliver 2 pints of handmade ice cream to you every month. You'll be surprised by the unique flavors you'll gonna get.

So, if you're craving for some ice cream but don't want the extra calories, then Papa Diddi's ice cream will definitely save your day!

NEW PERUVIAN RESTAURANT IN QC | CEVICHE PERUVIAN GASTRO PUB | FOODVENTURES

Ceviche is a new Peruvian Restaurant in Quezon City. It is the well-known before as 'Don Andres Peruvian Restaurant' in Scout Tobias. They recently moved their restaurant in Sto. Domingo street and changed the name to 'Ceviche'.   This is my first time to know about Peruvian Cuisine and I know that most of Filipinos are not very familiar with it too. It's great that there's a new resto to try in Banawe area that is different from what we are accustomed to.  Peru is known for their Ceviche and it's a favourite dish of many in Peruvian cuisine. Ceviche is like our Kilawin but instead of using vinegar, they use citrus fruits like lime or lemon. The resto has a very homey ambience. Great painted wall art and colorful tables and chairs. Ceviche is also a gastropub and they have plenty of alcohol, beers and cocktails that you can choose from.  Ceviche has a wide menu from chicken to pork to beef to seafood.  ...

FEELING FRAZZLED LATELY? THE FRAZZLED COOK IS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR YOU | FOODVENTURES

Feeling Frazzled lately?  The Frazzled Cook is the perfect place for you to relax and clear your mind with the help of their good food and nice ambience. We had the chance to dine here because the Zomato Foodie Meet up was held here. Their resto is located at a quaint house along Sct. Gandia Street. The ambience of the  resto is great, relaxing and will make you feel at home.         Some of the food we sampled are:  Herbed Chicken Salad   - it has crisp greens with mangoes, a hefty serving of chicken and croutons in basil vinaigrette dressing.  Truffle Pizza with Chili Garlic Oil   - This is not yet on their menu. We're fortunate that we already had a taste of this delicious pizza. It's a cheesy pizza topped with mushrooms and truffle. For added flavor and kick, pour some Chili Garlic Oil on the pizza.  Seafood Paella  - The ser...
