COSTA COFFEE'S FESTIVE DRINKS AND CAKES | WISH UPON A COSTA | FOODVENTURES

Costa Coffee is London's most famous Coffee Shop. They're best known for their unique blend of Robusta and Arabica beans which is what they call the Mocha Italia mix.

Upon entering you'll surely feel at home because of the ambience here is peaceful and quiet. It's a great place if you want to have some alone time or meeting with your friends over a cup of coffee.

The interiors are beautiful too. They have some of London's famous attraction like the big red phone booth located outside the shop and for a nice London touch they have this big comfortable couches designed with United Kingdom's Flag.

Just recently they had launched their festive campaign called "Wish Upon A Costa". They have 6 new cakes, pastries and beverages that you can now enjoy during this holiday season.

First, we tried is their Purple Glazed Cake, it's a ube sponge cake layered with yema and has mirror glazed frosting on top.

Next is the Merry Choco-Mint Cake, it's a layer of chocolate sponge cake and peppermint buttercream topped with mirror glazed chocolate ganache.

Candy Cane Cake, it's a layer of vanilla sponge cake with cream cheese and buttercream frosting.

Cheesecake YulBar, it has crushed graham crust, creamy cheesecake and topped with chocolate ganache.

Then the Ginger Bread Cookies, it's like a whoopie-pie made of gingerbread and with buttercream filling.

My top faves are the Purple Glazed Cake and the Cheesecake YulBar.

For the beverages, we sampled three hot and 3 cold drinks.

First one is their Golden Hazelnut which is a hot chocolate, made of golden hazelnut syrup, dark chocolate powder and topped with whipped cream and cookie crumbs.

Next is the Billionaire Hot Chocolate, it's made of caramel, dark chocolate powder and topped with caramel and golden crumbs.

And last for the hot variant is the Salted Pistachio Mocha, it's a coffee-based drink with some chocolate and salted pistachio syrup.

My fave among the hot variant is the Golden Hazelnut Mocha because I love hot chocolate that's not too sweet and this drink has just the right sweetness to it.

For the cold blended variants. We tried first the Salted Pistachio Mocha Frostino. It's a blend of dark chocolate sauce, coffee and topped with whipped cream and pistachio crumbs.

Candy Cane Frostino, it's hot chocolate that has a mint flavor to it and topped with whipped cream, candy crumbs and strawberry syrup.

Last is the Golden Hazelnut Frostino, it's made of roasted hazelnut, dark chocolate topped with whipped cream, golden crumbs and chocolate curls.

All of the beverages tasted good and refreshing. Same goes with their cake and pastries.

So, if you're looking for a place where you can just relax, eat and enjoy a cup of coffee, then Costa Coffee and their festive beverages and cakes are perfect for you.
